De Beers… Remember Me?

Background
Gary S. Gevisser began his official employment with De Beers diamond “site holder”, Stephen Cohen of Codiam Inc. in 1979, after providing a “letter of introduction” signed by Gary’s “uncle” David Gevisser who was the executor of the estate for Charles Engelhard Jr.; to De Beers’ US based attorneys a “Letter of Introduction” signed by Gary’s uncle David Gevisser who, on March 2nd, 1971, following the assassination of 54 year old American-German Charles W. Engelhard, became the executor of the estate of “Platinum King” C. W. Engelhard who was a close family friend of the Kennedy and Johnson family as well as “open supporter” of the South African Apartheid Regime. The purpose of this “nothing to speak of job” within De Beers was to provide Gary with a working knowledge of the business so that he could one day replace his father’s first cousin David as head of De Beers’ principal partner in the United States.

Not to mention some 5 odd months following the funeral of C. W. Engelhard at St. Mary’s Abby Church, Morris Town, New Jersey, which drew the last remaining son of virulent anti-Semite Joe Kennedy, Senator Ted Kennedy, former President Lyndon Johnson and Vice President Humphrey, the United States went officially off the Gold Standard, August 15th, 1971, and mineral rich estate of C. W. Engelhard skyrocketed.

While in the employment of Codiam Inc., Gary S. Gevisser attended private meetings conducted between Stephen Cohen and Martin Rapaport of the international diamond pricing publication THE RAPAPORT REPORT during which Stephen, acting on behalf of De Beers, provided Martin Rapaport with the latest prices for cut and polished diamonds.

Gary’s “short career” with De Beers ended with his liver being poisoned – a clear message that he would need to keep his mouth shut; which he did for approximately 24 years, until he had all of his “ducks lined up”; and once again re-established communication with De Beers and let them know that he was going after them.

Dear Stephen hi – remember me?

I am probably coming through to New York in a couple of weeks and perhaps we can meet for a quick bite?

Since we last broke bread together some 24 years ago, perhaps to the day, I have mostly been engaged in “due diligence” for private as well as public corporations, the main reason for my next trip besides for visiting with friends is to present evidence of “wrongdoing” to Eliot Spitzer, the Attorney General of New York who is after a “buddy” of mine although, a stretch to suggest that my relationship with Maurice “Hank” Greenberg of AIG-Marsh & McLennan-ACE LTD ever got close to the point of me calling him “Hank”, my name first being “tossed about” when Federal Judge Jack B. Weinstein credited me in coming forward with material that resulted in him overturning a landmark jury award back in late [April] 1997.

I would also like to say hello to your physician brother whose name escapes me at this time – extended a very warm hand like others trying to get to the bottom of my ailment that was driving me “nuts”, eventually returning to South Africa where a relation of ours, Dr. Michael Moshal, sorted me out rather quickly – once when staying for a short while in his apartment on 72nd street I exchanged a quick hello with John Lennon who lived across the street in the Dakotas, interesting that Lennon’s murderer checked into a hotel at 27 West 72nd – I have this thing about transposed numbers, the difference always divisible by 9?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Leon – I was hoping to grab a bite to eat with both u and your dad – didn’t hear back tho from Stephen?

Perhaps, it would help to get u to place The Diamond Invention at the top of your “read list” if I were to simply have u take a look at Chapter 18 and tell me your thoughts on this “informer” business?

I suspect it wouldn’t take u all of 24 minutes to read the entire chapter made up of approximately 3700 words, about the same amount of time it would take me to type it out assuming I have the right Indian music playing.

Leon hi – I am getting closer to nailing down Attorney General Spitzer, it helping tho if I could get your feedback on at least chapter 18 of the Diamond Invention that Charles Engelhard the co-conspirator with the Oppenheimers in the Diamond Invention, “arranged for Oppenheimer to buy a controlling interest in his far-flung empire, since he had no male heirs to take over.” Have u met our mutual cousin David Gevisser?

Gary
