Ben,

That tells me that you, like most do not recognize Nick Oppenheimer, the son of Harry Oppenheimer.

The only prominent website you will find that photo which speaks for itself is on Wikipedia; both De Beers where you have to scroll down, and Nick’s very short profile where it remains conspicuously alone.

Yesterday you had one of the biggest stories of the day that got read throughout the literate world

Russian Military Planes Crowd the U.S. for a Fourth Day
U.S., Canadian fighters intercept long-range bombers, you would agree that at least one person in the Kremlin would have read it.

Why do you think the Kremlin waited until early October 2008 before releasing the photo to the public and knowing that when President elect Obama saw it, he would go “ape shit”?

Imagine if President Putin, the Kremlin, every Russian embassy throughout the world as well as every member of Congress and President Trump were already informed about this photograph and aware that by them all being silent, people such as you would not be any the wiser?

Are you not startled that this photo never became the biggest the news story when President Putin simply walked in grabbed 20% of the United States strategic uranium reserves?

Obviously you are not the first high profile journalist to see the photo and therefore those who know about it are not talking to you.

That would greatly concern the others if the roles were reversed.

I know a great deal about that photo because I not only used to work for De Beers-Barclays but I proved to Harry Oppenheimer himself that despite his only son being 14 years older than me, and born on the same day my paternal grandmother Kate Gevisser died, which was just one month after Nazi Germany surrendered, I was smarter than any of his children in the area of “social etiquette” and quantitative analysis.

I am of course in the process of exposing the significance of this photo and seeking support from those in the media business who are genuinely interested in the people getting the truth.

What I have found is that once given the information, and profiting from the “false news” the weak and corrupt tend to withdraw, none of which would be lost on Putin or Oppenheimer.

What are your thoughts about that photo?

You have a lot to think about, but that doesn’t mean you can be comfortable in talking about it to colleagues who have chosen not to share the most important photo taken of an event that changed the politics of planet earth.

While the truth is disturbing to those too busy keeping track of their lies, to those, especially the youth who are not yet corrupted, the truth is enlightening and from it comes only good.

If you buy into fear then you would expect to become cynical which is not a positive.

I see your choices crystal clear; joining the herd and clamming up while knowing that you would not be the first to do so or deciding to be an active part of breaking the code of silence behind the cycle of violence.

To me it was a simple choice, and one that I have never regretted because lying never felt good and nor did having to constantly look over my shoulder waiting for someone to call me liar.

Of course it means nothing when someone who isn’t good accuses you of terrible things because it simply confirms who they are and they fool no one and find themselves increasingly avoiding looking themselves in the mirror.
