Have you heard of The Diamond Invention book?
I’m having Rosh Hashanah dinner with an IAF pilot and his family and extended family on moshav Ein Yahav that was founded by a group of young army soldiers in the mid 1960s including his father, a paratrooper who fought in both the 1967 6 Day War as well as the 1973 Yom Kippur when just days before his 30th birthday was killed in the last hours of that very bloody war.
During WWII my father was wingman to the future commander of the IAF fighter squadron 101, South African Syd Cohen who took over as commander when Modi Alon was killed on Oct 16 1948.
In 1978 when Edward J Epstein began writing The Diamond Invention book I was undergoing my year long interviewing process to join global banker-mining house De Beers-Barclays bank and joined them officially in early spring 1979 by which time I saw every leader in the world who was on their payroll as well as their second in command.
My IAF pilot friend Tomer says it would be interesting to him to see us dialogue.
Earlier I sent a communique to Netanyahu that included an 8 second video, inviting him for a meeting on Tuesday evening at the Alegro Boutique Hotel in Jerusalem.
