Moreover, the victory by American forces, that included Teddy Roosevelt as one of the key commanders, resulted in Spain relinquishing sovereignty over Cuba; ceding Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Philippines, and in return the United States paid $20 million to Spain, which if Spain wanted more then it would have simply meant the United States would have to consider invading Spain, grabbing all the art in Madrid’s Prado Museum and turning the Spanish people into slaves, but the Spanish. who speak a different language to English, were not stupid, and were happy with the $20 million bribe.
The American led, 8 Allied Invasion of China that began on 10 June 1900, and ended 1 year and 90 days later, 7 September 1901 was a different kettle of fish; but still Teddy Roosevelt did not have its eventual outcome on his mind at the time, because he only became President of the United States 14 days later, again, September 14, 1901.

Those of you who listened to what was being spoken and realized that the lecturers were simply, like most customer service people who haven’t yet been replaced by AI, reading a script that they couldn’t deviate from, and their movement of their heads and eyeballs was to identify students they would like to fuck, but never falling for their charm and promises of a passing grade, with a written testimonial to get a job with idiot investment banking and Wall Street consulting firms such as BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Deloitte and the such, you have to thank your lucky stars or God, whatever you prefer.
So there was nothing remarkable about me being only 17 like most first year students.
I had my parents, my next door neighbors Gerald and Hilary Hackner and my best friend Mark Oscar Hackner next to me at every lecture; and if for some reason he didn’t show up, I would leave the lecture hall before the trash talk began.
Again, the benefits of a university education is that you have to read.
