So is this the big thing you think you’re whistleblowing? I don’t think the value of money is completely fixed, but I do think governments attempt to artificially fix and stabilize their currencies. Ironically though, if the entire world was under one price fixed currency, we’d live in a world that is a little more equitable. Honestly though? I don’t really give a shit at this point about this topic. AI is going to completely change the way money and economics work by the 2030s. What we need to be talking about is creating a cryptocurrency that links humans to AGI economic prosperity. Most people will belong to the vast “useless class,” once AGI can do most human jobs better, faster, and cheaper. If we don’t find a good way to keep the useless class from becoming destitute (I’m not saying my solutions are the only way), we’re going to have massive problems on our hands.

Like the hacker Gummo (who helped setup the networks for the stock exchange) predicted: right before we hit AGI economic prosperity (which will be many magnitudes bigger than any time in history btw), we will have more people than ever trying to extract and collect as much capital as possible, while devaluing the labor and existence of the human.

We have to ensure they don’t have so much power and capital, that they can hurt the rest of us, and separate us from this unprecedented prosperity coming. Or control us.
